1. What PatternCall is
PatternCall is a product of Broken Cloud Group, LLC ("the company"). PatternCall is an educational tool for practicing aviation radio communication. It simulates ATC exchanges for training purposes only.
2. Not a substitute for flight training
⚠️ PatternCall is not a certified flight training device or course. It is a supplemental practice tool.
Always follow your CFI's guidance and FAA regulations. Radio procedures may vary by airport, region, and situation. Real-world radio communication requires proper training and certification.
3. Accounts
You may use PatternCall without an account (limited features). Creating an account requires a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
4. Subscriptions
- PatternCall Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription.
- Payment is processed by Stripe (web) or Apple (iOS App Store).
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Refunds follow the policies of the respective payment processor (Stripe or Apple).
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
5. Intellectual property
All content in PatternCall — including scenarios, code, designs, and audio — is the property of Broken Cloud Group, LLC and protected by copyright. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
- Use the app for any purpose other than personal aviation radio practice
- Share your account credentials with others
- Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions
7. Disclaimer of warranties
PatternCall is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the radio procedures in the app are current, complete, or applicable to your specific airport or situation.
8. Limitation of liability
Broken Cloud Group, LLC and PatternCall shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of this app, including but not limited to errors in radio communication procedures used in real-world flight operations.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the in-app menu.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
